PIRIOU Delivers Two New Tugs to BOLUDA France

Following the delivery in 2014 and 2015 of the first four tugs of the series ordered by BOLUDA FRANCE, a subsidiary of BOLUDA CORPORACION MARITIMA, PIRIOU has just delivered two new units: ‘VB VOLCAN’ on April 11th and ‘VB TORNADE’ on May 9th.

These two units were built by PIRIOU Vietnam with a standard design by PIRIOU customized to answer the specific requirements of BOLUDA FRANCE. ‘VB VOLCAN’ will be based in Reunion Island and ‘VB TORNADE’ in Le Havre French harbor.

PIRIOU will attend as an exhibitor the next ‘Tugnology’ conference in Rotterdam on May 23rd and 24^th 2017 and show its new models in the range dedicated to towing (stand n°47).

In order to even better meet the operators’ requirements, three new ASD tugs on a design by Robert Allan will now also be offered: RAmparts 2500, RAmparts 3000 and RAmparts 3200.
