Palau International Ship Registry Appoints Senior Principal Surveyor

Palau International Ship Registry (PISR) takes immense pleasure in announcing the appointment of  Pantelis Kalipetis as Senior Principal Surveyor.

Kalipetis is a naval architect with more than 35 years of solid experience in the marine technical field. He started his career in 1982 as a surveyor in one of the most reputed classification societies, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), in the Piraeus and Dubai Ports. In 2001, he was promoted to ABS Senior Principal Lead Surveyor in charge of the Europe Eastern Region, attending vessels during major projects and monitoring surveyors.  

Today Kalipetis brings his technical expertise to PISR as a professional specialist for rules, regulations, requirements, concepts and principles. With his enviable reputation in technical survey affairs, he provides supervision, guidance and training to the Technical Department officers and Flag State Inspectors network of PISR, ensuring maintenance of quality, content, consistency and continuity of work performed in PISR.
