New CEO Alphatron Marine Group

Mr. Bart Brom (55 years old), currently Director and Business Unit Manager Marine & Offshore at Eekels Technology in Kolham, will be appointed as the CEO of Alphatron Marine Group in Rotterdam, effective from 1 January 2018. 

After he had completed his studies in electrical engineering, he fulfilled various management and executive positions with companies in the maritime electrical engineering, such as Alewijnse, Bakker Sliedrecht and most recently Eekels Technology. As of 1 September, he will continue his career with Alphatron Marine Group. 

Bart Brom will succeed co-founder Luuk Vroombout (64 years old). Luuk Vroombout will remain involved in the company as President and as a co-director he will mainly engage in the company’s strategy, product development and branding. 

The globally operating company will, under Bart Brom’s responsibility and in close collaboration with Japan Radio Company (JRC), further expand and develop as a Global Solution & Service Provider ? a development with a focus on customer relations.
