Laborde Products & Mitsubishi are Moving Rock at Fullen Dock

Fullen Dock of Memphis, TN wanted to improve the capability of the M/V James T, and wanted more horsepower, however didn’t want to complicate their boat operations with complex electronic engines. Working with David Disalvo of Laborde Products and Greg Wilkins of National Maintenance, they selected a fully mechanical Mitsubishi engine that fit in the available space, and offered the James T more horsepower than the previous engine package. The new Mitsubishi engines are rated 850 horsepower, feature individual cylinder heads, Woodward hydraulic governors, and utilized the existing control system in the vessel helping to control repower cost.
