ECOREP-PIRIOU Builds Three Workboats for STH Spa

ECOREP-PIRIOU just recorded the order for three workboats for STH Spa, Algerian Company for Research, Production, Transport, Transformation, and Commercialization of Hydrocarbons to be operated in the harbors of Arzew, Bejaia and Skikda. They will be entirely built in Algeria - a first for that type of vessel - and their delivery is due during summer 2018.

These steel workboats of 13.85 m length and 5.5 m breadth will be powered by 2 x 450 hp engines.

ECOREP PIRIOU is already leader in Algeria for the building and repair of fish vessels. This first order in the sector of workboats is another successful step in its development to become a naval shipyard dedicated to the building of steel, aluminum and composite vessels up to 550 tons, and the associated services.
