Conrad Shipyard Christens Vane Brothers Hull
Conrad Shipyard christened Hull C-1149 in a ceremony held at its Deep Water South Shipyard on January 4. The 55,000-BBL barge is scheduled for delivery to customer, the Vane Brothers Company of Baltimore, Maryland, in early March.

Conrad Shipyard was established in 1948 and is headquartered in Morgan City, Louisiana. The company designs, builds and overhauls tugboats, ferries, liftboats, barges, ATBs, offshore supply vessels and other steel and aluminum products for both commercial and government markets. Conrad provides both repair and new construction services at its five Gulf Coast shipyards located in Southern Louisiana and Texas.
