Assent Medical Cost Management Welcomes Renee Hughes

Assent Medical Cost Management is pleased to welcome Senior Business Development Executive, Renee Hughes. Hughes will direct business development for Domestic and International Maritime Bill Review and Negotiation for Assent. Working closely with P&I Clubs, Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Maritime Adjusters, Cruise Lines, and Maritime Attorneys to maximize Maritime healthcare savings, through innovative cost management solutions.

Prior to joining Assent Medical Cost Management, Hughes served as an executive within the industry's service and cost savings organizations and brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Previously, Hughes skillfully performed in a variety of executive sales leadership roles specific to the Maritime and health insurance areas, including fully insured, self-insured, workers compensation and managed care organizations.

Renee holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. She is an active member of Women's International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA), The Tampa Propeller Club, Connecticut Maritime Association (CMA), and the Ft. Lauderdale Mariners Club.

Renee has also been an active participant in the Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) national and international conferences and various Maritime industry conferences.
