Joint Venture Established for Brazil's Offshore Market

PALFINGER DREGGEN and the Brazilian crane manufacturer Koch Metalúrgica have entered into joint venture PALFINGER KOCH for manufacturing offshore cranes in Brazil

• Koch Metalúrgica and Palfinger Dreggen do Brasil have entered into a joint venture named Palfinger Koch Montagens Industriais Ltda for the purpose of joint assembly, testing and commissioning of offshore cranes in Brazil.
• PALFINGER KOCH will locate and invest in infrastructure in a suitable area in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
• The establishment of PALFINGER KOCH is a further strengthening of the existing partnership entered into between the two companies in March 2012 and is a further strategic step towards successful deliveries of high end offshore cranes that meet the Brazilian oil and gas industry’s demands for local content.
