The U.K. Chamber of Shipping, in partnership with ITN Productions, has launched Delivering for Britain, an in-depth program exploring the future of the U.K. shipping industry.

As the U.K. prepares to leave the European Union there is a renewed focus on its trading relationships with the world. 95 percent of the U.K.'s international trade is moved by sea and shipping has never been more important to economic prosperity.

Delivering for Britain demonstrates how the industry is preparing for Brexit, how it is influencing the political landscape and how it is leading the world in investment, skills and technology. The program also includes sponsored editorial profiles from Foreland Shipping, IMarEST, Inmarsat, Plymouth University Marine Institute, Red Funnel, Stream Marine Training, Svitzer, The City of Glasgow College, Trinity House and the U.K. Hydrographic Office.

The aim of the program is to share knowledge and heighten awareness among policy makers, politicians and the wider public, and to highlight how the next generation of seafarers can embark on an exciting and fulfilling career.
