Burns Victim Evacuated from Container Ship

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a 28-year-old man from a container ship 20 miles east of Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Saturday.

The man, on board the Maersk Santana container ship, has suffered burns on his arms and legs. The cause of the incident has not yet been made public.

A helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City was launched to medevac the injured man. The man is now in a stable condition in hospital.
