Dentist Causes Costa Victoria Detention in Taiwan

A dispute with a former passenger has meant that the cruise ship Costa Victoria was forced to stay in the port of Keelung, Taiwan, for a few hours on Thurday.

According to reports, a dentist in New Taipei had an accident on the ship on a previous cruise in February and has filed a lawsuit against Costa Crociere. The company acted quickly, using local lawyers to reach an agreement, so Keelung District Court revoked the custody of the ship within a few hours. Costa Victoria has now continued on its journey.
