MITAGS Tapped to Provide Training for Sabine Pilots

MITAGS tapped to provide the familiarization training for Sabine River Pilots. The courses will utilize MITAGS advanced assist tug bridge simulator integrated into the Class A Full-Mission Bridge. The courses also includes the programming of seven LNG carrier models to simulate the entire range of vessels in service or under construction (including QFLEX and QMAX), and Sabine River from the sea buoy to Port Arthur. The database will also incorporate a very sophisticated depth and current model custom made by Waterway Simulation Technology (WST). All thirty pilots and ten Edison Chouest TugMasters will participate in the courses starting in May.
