Evac's new STP range certified by the USCG and the Russian Register

Evac’s improved standard STP units have now been certified by the USCG Type II Certification of Marine Sanitation Devices (MSD). Russian Register Certificates for the same range were received earlier this year.

Even though most countries accept the EC-Type Approval Certificate according to the IMO Marpol Annex IV for the waste water treatment plants, country related certificates are requested by US and Russian authorities for ships sailing under the US or the Russian flag.

Evac’s improved STP range is an ideal solution for ships of any size. Third generation STP units are available in both coated carbon steel and stainless steel versions. Simple and reliable operation with proven components, combined with Evac waste water process know-how from collecting and dimensioning to treatment, secure an economical waste water treatment throughout the lifetime of the ship.

Evac is the most experienced supplier in its field, capable of delivering a comprehensive system for the collection, treatment and discharge of both grey and black water. The complete chain gives the shipyard and shipowner a reliable and integrated system with economical operation costs.

In the last years Evac has made considerable investments in research and development on the problems of marine waste water treatment. This has resulted in four treatment product ranges. With our combination of know-how in both waste water treatment and vacuum collection, Evac can always provide the most suitable technical solution for your ship. Evac technologies are IMO and USCG certified.
