Autoship Wins Keppel Singmarine Contract for SMIT Vessels
The project was the installation of a series of Autoload® onboard stability programs for the SMIT AHTSV vessels, KAMARA, KOMODO and NICOBAR.. These vessels are part of SMIT’s OSV newbuilding program. Keppel’s in-house ship design R&D Company, Marine Technology Development Pte. Ltd. (MTDTM), completed the 3D modelling and Stability Book in ASC’s Autohydro® software and delivered to Autoship Systems’ the necessary information to create the library files to produce the onboard stability application necessary for the SMIT vessels. Autoload is a state-of-the-art onboard stability program that uses a precise 3D model of the vessel hull to calculate trim and stability of the vessel in an operational environment.
