Uptime International Announces 3 New Contracts

Uptime international has entered into 3 new contracts worth more than NOK 50 Million before the end of 2015. The contracts were signed by Island Offshore, Norside Supply, and Italian Marnavi Offshore.
Island Offshore contracted a newly developed diesel driven gangway to be mounted on their newly built vessel Island Venture. The new design will make it easy to move the gangway between vessels in the Island Offshore fleet, adding flexibility. This particular gangway is designed to be used in the oil and gas market.
Previously Marnavi Offshore has leased an Uptime 12 meter gangway. They have since decided to purchase the gangway and mount it on their vessel Ievoli Ivory for use in Mediterranean oil and gas projects.
The last contract was signed with Norside Supply to mount an Uptime gangway onto a rebuilt SOV which will be chartered by Statoil during the summer of 2016. Svein Ove Haugen said “The best sales and marketing argument you can get as a provider of technical equipment is that customers that have used your equipment over a time buys even more products from you. The fact that Island Offshore is now buying their third gangway from Uptime in a difficult market makes us proud and encourages us to work even harder to team up with present and new customers.”
