Key responsibilities
-Work with labor providers to ensure performance and safety expectations are complied with, while managing cost
-Successfully manage the shipping, receiving and storage functions of the warehouse
-Ensure processing of all inbound and outbound cargo is timely and accurate
-Keep accurate documentation of O, S, and D (over, short, damaged) cartons
-Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
-Review and analyze production report, research errors and recommend/ implement corrective action
-Uphold financial responsibility for daily P and L
-Coordinate and communicate daily quality, cost, and service objectives to other key areas of the business unit
-Establish a safe environment and continually promote safety culture throughout the facility to ensure compliance with Federal and State Safety Regulations
-Maintain sound maintenance and repair program
-Maintains open communication with all employees and conduct department meetings consistently
-Compliance- with safety policies and procedures, and safety training, including workers compensation issues 
-Development and implementation of business operations- standards and systems for quality assurance, customer service and productivity 
-Evaluates, develops, and implements systems and procedures impacting all functional areas of the distribution center/facility operations 
-Manages staff, including monitoring employee performance, disciplinary actions, employee relations, and training issues. 
-Coordinates with Human Resources department to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures 
-Performs other related duties as assigned

-Analytical experience

-4 year degree preferred but not required
-Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends
-At times may be required significantly extended shift hours based on business need
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
