SHIPPINGInsight 20/20 to Offer Dynamic Virtual Conference

SHIPPINGInsight 20/20, a “Vision for the Decade” is well positioned to be maritime’s most dynamic and valuable conference event offered yet. Offering livestream content, that is later available on-demand for a year, combined with an array of networking and social opportunities, SHIPPINGInsight 20/20 is maximizing digital tools to create a powerful and meaningful industry event. SHIPPINGInsight Fleet Optimization and Innovation Conference and Exhibition is begins October 7 th -8 th with “Deep Dive” technical sessions followed by the conference and exhibition held October 12th -14th.

SHIPPINGInsight 20/20 focuses on technical and innovative solutions to maritime’s current challenges, as well as projects what the decade will hold. The “Deep Dive” technical sessions cover the gamut of fleet management optimization, fuels and bunkers, energy alternatives, regulatory compliance challenges, digitalization and cyber, plus safety on the high seas. The conference sessions present discussions on the “Decade of”: Decarbonization, Defense, Digitalization, Decisions, Disruption, and Discovery. It closes with SHIPPINGInsight’s signature SHARK TANK where new technology contestants (“chum”) face a battery of shipowners and investors (“Sharks”) who will examine their thesis, evaluate their value proposition, and decide whether to “invest” in their concepts. The winner of the SHARK TANK will be the recipient of SHIPPINGInsight’s 20/20 Innovation Award.
