PIRIOU Has Just Delivered Two New Units
Rix Leopard to RIX Sea Shuttle, and Ocean Wind 9 of Hartlepool to AIS (Marine) 2 Limited, after a first vessel delivered in April 2015, and which will also be operated by WINDCREW WORKBOATS in the North Sea.
Several leading operators in the Netherlands, Germany and England have already trusted PIRIOU for the last three years.
PIRIOU will be present at SEAWORK Exhibition from June 14 to 16 in Southampton to show its range of ships and dedicated services to support offshore wind farms, towage and oil & gas.
A fast and safe transfer
With a sea proven design © BMT Nigel Gee, the WFSV 26w is MCA category 1 and certified by Bureau Veritas. She provides safe and fast transfer within a range of 150 NM from a safe heaven.
A significant improvement has been made on these two ships carrying personnel transfer capacity from 12 to 24 technicians. Side doors now also allow direct access from the passengers lounge outward.
In terms of equipment, these vessels are fitted with a 8.5 t/m crane on foredeck. Rix Leopard is also equipped with 3 point mooring system to allow diving operations.
To benefit from greater autonomy, Ocean Wind 9 of Hartlepool’s freshwater and sewage capacities have both been increased from 1 to 3.5 m3
