NSB Signs Up to ShipServ

One of the world?s leading container operators chooses ShipServ for its e-procurement activities

ShipServ, the leading marine and offshore e-marketplace, has increased its presence in Germany and the container sector with the signing of leading operator REEDEREI NSB. 

REEDEREI NSB signed with ShipServ on the strength of its pedigree in the container market, and was attracted by the ability to standardize transactions with all its suppliers and increase efficiency in the purchasing cycle. 

The company based in Buxtehude near Hamburg, Germany engages in ship management, supervision of newbuildings as well as retrofittings and crewing and just recently announced an initiative to internationalize its business. 

REEDEREI NSB will connect to ShipServ through its current ShipNet ERP maritime software suite.

ShipServ now has over 15 containership owners and operators trading on ShipServ with close to a 50% share of vessels in the liner sector. 

Major containership owners and operators trading on ShipServ include AP Moller-Maersk, CMA CGM, Mediterranean Shipping Company, Seaspan Corporation, NYK Line, CSAV Group, K Line, MISC, Matson, Crowley Lines Reederei and Claus-Peter Offen. 

REEDEREI NSB also joins a growing band of German shipowners and operators that are currently using ShipServ which includes Claus-Peter Offen, Alpha Shipmanagement, E.R. Schiffahrt, F.Laeisz, Nordic Hamburg and Opielok.
