HydroComp, Inc. Announces SeaTech Solutions International as New Representative

HydroComp, Inc. is pleased to introduce SeaTech Solutions International (S) Pte Ltd of Singapore as our newest representative. SeaTech Solutions (STS) will be HydroComp’s software dealer for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

STS was founded in April of 2000 with a commitment to the rapidly changing business needs and solutions of the maritime industry. SeaTech Solutions is currently operated by Mr. G. Singh Chopra, a professional Naval Architect who has dedicated 37 years to the business. STS Technical Director, Mr. Dilip Sarangdhar, has 40 years of experience in the industry including 31 years in ship classification. Mr. Prabjot Singh Chopra, Senior Naval Architect, is HydroComp’s liason and in charge of all sales and support activity for the region.
The STS main hub is in Singapore but also operates in India, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Bangladesh. These offices are all strategically placed to enhance service, and are staffed by a fleet of professional Naval Architects, Engineers and Designers with strong know-how and experience to uphold SeaTech Solutions standards.

This new representation for HydroComp in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia will offer a unique collaboration that expands HydroComp’s hydrodynamic performance software to an important maritime locale. “We are very enthusiastic to be able to be represented by an office with such highly trained naval architects such as Prabjot Singh Chopra and his staff”, according to HydroComp’s Managing Director Jill Aaron.

HydroComp’s Technical Director, Donald MacPherson, and Project Engineer, Adam Kaplan, traveled to Singapore in November 2012, and along with Seatech Solutions met area naval architects and propeller builders. Mr. MacPherson also gave a SNAMES presentation, as well as conducted software training and HydroComp’s Propeller Workshop.
