Reederei Hansa Shipping signs contract for the web-based fleet management service fleettracker.de.

In times of crisis and competition in shipping, efficiency and a faster exchange of information is becoming increasingly important. This also increases the demands on the fleet management. "So far we have given the timetable data by e-mail from board to land. There they were captured and sent to all parties. That was not only cumbersome but also time-consuming and costly”, said Hansa Shipping captain Andrey Shtarkov about his search for a management solution.

With the Fleettracker Internet service, Hansa Shipping solved the problem and provides the entire team schedule data such as ETA, ETB and ETD, agents data and arrival and departure reports in a clear and timely manner.

Captain Shtarkov: "For us, a more effective and faster flow of information is important. The schedules must always be current and consistent, so we can ensure the best possible service in the harbor.”

The schedule management is a part of the Fleettracker Internet services, which can be used after the all-in-one-hand principle or in individual modules. So, via the tracking module, Hansa Shipping receives hourly position reports and evaluates its voyage data additionally by means of the analysis module. "We can use the service very flexible," says Captain Sharkov. "With Fleettracker, we collect and analyse ship details and provide some of these data via an interface to further service providers."

The software is installed on the existing systems on board. "Fleettracker is ready for use. Investment in additional hardware is not necessary, "according to Jan Herberg, Managing Director from Herberg Engineering.
