HB Rentals Introduces More Compact Accommodation Module

HB Rentals, global accommodation specialist to the oil and gas industry, has launched an innovative new 18ft four-bed accommodation module to meet client demand for a smaller, lighter accommodation module supporting the Middle East offshore market.

The leading global supplier of modular accommodation systems designed for living and working at remote project sites unveiled its new 18ft module on the first day of ADIPEC, the largest regional oil and gas conference in the Gulf region.

HB Rentals designed, developed and manufactured the new module at its Aberdeen, UK manufacturing facility in response to growing customer demand. Leveraging in-house engineering capabilities, HB developed the new module in five months from concept to delivery, further demonstrating the company’s industry leading capability of customising product to market needs.

The ability to stack and link differentiates the A60 DNV unit, appealing to clients operating with limited deck space on certain rigs or others who are governed by specific weight restrictions during operations.

Norman Porter, HB Rentals director for the Eastern Hemisphere, believes the company’s latest offering will help it further its reach within the Middle East.
