Dry Boots on Shell Brent Delta Platform

Pronomar has received an order from Shell UK for its innovative, established Pronomar-Top Trock boot dryers, in total for 30 pairs of boots/shoes, to be installed on their Brent Delta platform.

The boot drying panel, completely made from solid, seawater-resistant steel to protect it from salty conditions out at sea, works totally noiseless and is completely maintenance free. The panel dries the boots electrically, efficiently and fast on rounded hangers from the inside out using the principle of insulation.

Not only do the boots benefit from being dried properly on a daily basis with a longer lifetime, the crew benefit also. Properly dried footwear increases well-being and therefore also the motivation of the workers. From a health point of view the dryers stand for a decrease in sick leaves, as workers are more likely to get sick when working in wet or damp boots. With the Pronomar-Top Trock boot dryers this is a thing of the past.
