Cabin Refurbishment by Almaco Onboard Superstar Aquarius

In February 2013 ALMACO continued the successful cooperation with Star Cruises by refurbishing all 732 standard cabins onboard Superstar Aquarius. ALMACO’s scope included the delivery and installation of upholstery and new carpet for 577 Standard Outside cabins and 155 Standard Inside Cabins.

Timo Vuorinen, the Project Manager for this modernization, explains that “on a rather short order-to-delivery time, ALMACO sourced material, labor and handled the project logistics for a docking that took place at the Hongkong United Dockyards in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.” ALMACO’s efficiencies in Engineering, Logistics and Project Management allowed for an early and successful delivery as Vuorinen confirms “the project was completed two days before the deadline with no outstanding remarks.”

Shortly after the completion of this project, the ALMACO team started the modernization of Public Spaces onboard Star Pisces.
