AIG in the UK today announced the appointment of Steve Broderick as Marine Loss Control Manager, effective immediately. He will be based in London and report to Kristof de Bremme, Head of Marine.

Kristof de Bremme said: “I am delighted to welcome Steve to the team. With 20 years’ experience in the marine insurance market he is the ideal appointment to take responsibility for our growing Project Cargo account and the loss control servicing for our large complex marine programmes; he will be an invaluable knowledge resource for both underwriters, brokers and clients, helping us to take a proactive and pragmatic approach to loss control.

“Steve will strengthen our ability to work in partnership with our clients and brokers to measure, identify and list customer requirements and provide efficient integrated solutions towards risk minimization that can be location-specific or part of a worldwide master policy program.”
