Another year, another successful class!

It's time to say bon voyage to the graduates of the Cuxhaven Maritime College. We sincerely wish them all the best and every possible success. And, of course, as the German seamen say, "always have at least a hand's breadth of water below your keel."

All the students who participated in the courses of the German American Maritime Institute have already been placed with well-paying jobs where they will be launching their careers as officers in proper form. Their knowledge of maritime commercial law, charter parties, salvage, general average and the handling of all manner of cargo types distinguishes them.

We are enormously proud of these young sailors. We can be sure that good ships will always need good people.

Each year is different, each class has its own personality, each graduate has his own challenges that need to be mastered and his own wishes which we try our best to fulfill. We had great fun with the Spring 2016 class. We will always keep you in our memory. Keep up the good work.

Thanks to Tom Thomssen for the musical accompaniment.
