Graham Hunter Appointed Business Director for Marine Chemicals at Wilhelmsen Ships Service

Wilhelmsen Ships Service has appointed Graham Hunter, former General Manager at Nalfleet, as new Business Director Marine Chemicals. Hunter has previously held different positions at Shell, with the last 20 years at Nalfleet, and brings with him many years experience from the marine chemicals business.
Wilhelmsen Ships Service acquired Nalfleet in December 2010. A much strengthened chemicals unit will enable the company to invest further in research projects and product development. Hunter will lead a team of dedicated professionals in managing two solid brands and further developing the company’s position in marine chemicals. Focus will be on improving Wilhelmsen Ships Service’s global offer and customer solutions brought to the marine market.
Graham Hunter comments, “With both Unitor chemicals and Nalfleet chemicals in our product portfolio, developing the future chemical offer for Wilhelmsen Ships Service will be an exciting challenge for me.”
With the development of sound business and marketing strategies for both Unitor chemicals and Nalfleet chemicals, Wilhelmsen Ships Service is able to strengthen its ability to improve operational efficiency for existing and future customers.
“Our ambition is to build on our two leading marine chemical brands, Unitor and Nalfleet, and respective product portfolios. Graham and his team will focus on positioning the brands and associated offerings in a clear and meaningful way. This acquisition is a key accelerator for the company’s growth plans for marine chemicals." says Andrew Stephens, Senior Vice President International Operations at Wilhelmsen Ships Service, about the appointment.
In addition to marine chemicals, Wilhelmsen Ships Service supplies Unitor marine products, technical services, ships agency services and maritime logistics.
