Friday in Tianjin saw four new fires erupt in the disaster zone where warehouse explosions killed more than 116 people on August 12. Fire fighters, soldiers and police officers have been dispatched to put out the flames.

The fires were seen in a logistics parking lot and nearby areas. The area has the burned out bodies of more than 3,000 cars, and technicians have detected levels of cyanide around 400 times safe levels.

More inspections of facilities handling dangerous chemicals, including explosives and fireworks, have been ordered throughout the nation at any chemical handling facilities near public transportation. Meanwhile, thousands of tons of contaminated water at the port are being treated.
