The Second Annual Spring Fling Regatta

The Spring Fling Regatta for the International Cruise Industry is held annually the day before the Seatrade Cruise Global Conference and Tradeshow in South Florida. This regatta is held in appreciation of the grand nautical traditions of the International Cruise Industry, and encompasses mariners from all over the world. Racing in sailboats is the oldest and purest form of friendly competition among those who live and work on the sea.

To celebrate this bond, the Spring Fling Regatta team has brought the same elements that made last year’s event a success to this year’s regatta including food, drinks, match racing format and an award ceremony. Hosted at the Lauderdale Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the racing includes rounds for both the most serious racers and casual racers alike.

This event is open by invitation only to members of the International Cruise Shipping industry and is limited to 35 skippers, sailing 420 class racing dinghies.
