Offshore oil and gas platforms need to be self-sufficient. FCI Watermakers' commercial-grade, high-output Neptune and Poseidon reverse osmosis desalination units provide the pure, fresh water needed for drinking, bathing, cooking, laboratory use, equipment wash down and production operations on these rigs.

From 1,275 to 9,500 gallons per day, the reliable Neptune is ideal for jackup rigs and semi-submersibles. Adaptable, it's available horizontally on a skid or in a modular configuration.

For the substantial water needs of the largest rigs, the Poseidon will make from 10,000 to 40,000 gallons of water a day. It's self-contained on a one-piece skid. Unlike competing brands, the watermaker is tolerant of particulates and variations in salinity.

Both the Neptune and Poseidon come standard with FCI Watermakers' next-generation marine-grade V4 Controller. This state-of-the-art control panel allows for fingertip access to the complete watermaking process.

Available for both models, the innovative Automated Pressure Control module turns watermaking into a fully automatic process. Less crew overhead is needed to run the system.

Engineered and manufactured in the US, all FCI Watermakers are assembled with non-proprietary parts. The Neptune and Poseidon are designed to run non-stop, so belt-driven commercial-grade motors and pump assemblies provide peace of mind to busy crew.

Built of only the finest equipment, the units define quality and reliability. This means a continuous water supply with limited operator intervention and maintenance needs.

The Neptune and Poseidon bear type approval certifications from ABS, GL, Lloyd's Register EMEA, Det Norske Veritas and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Both can be built to any classification or standard required.

FCI Watermakers is no stranger to the world of commercial marine. For over 20 years, the company has supplied state-of-the-art watermakers to workboat, merchant and naval fleets, and the maritime petroleum industry. It manufactures units with capacity ranges to 265,000 GPD.
