Grand Bahama Shipyard Adds Four New Positions to Their Executive Team

Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited (GBSL), the largest and most respected shipyard in the Caribbean providing retrofit, refurbishment or revitalization to cruise and commercial vessels, is proud to announce that we have strengthened our executive team.

GBSL, the largest and most respected ship repair yard in the Caribbean is known for delivering both cruise and commercial vessels on time, and often ahead of schedule. In order to meet the needs of our customers, we are dedicated to continual upgrades to our yard, and our services. Not only have we invested in our people, we have recently made capital improvements to the yard.

We invested in our workshops by upgrading and purchasing machinery and tooling. Also expanded were our wet berth capabilities to relieve pressure off dry dock utilization and move vessels out of dry dock and into service faster.

Our new website www.grandbahamashipyard.com, launched in the Spring of 2016, now offers a comprehensive view of the services offered at the yard, along with technical information for ship owner/operators and superintendents prior to drydock.
