Chain of Things Hosts Shipping Forum During Hong Kong Maritime Week
The rate of technological advancement is increasing at an exponential rate. Without proper insights and meaningful networks, many organizations and individuals will find themselves struggling to remain relevant in the very near future. It is this reason that Chain of Things - along with its partners at Hong Kong Maritime Week and The Maritime Executive Magazine - have dedicated significant resources to provide the information, technical tools, and networks to the maritime, shipping & logistics industries. Co-located and in collaboration with this year’s Hong Kong Maritime Week, Chain of Things will be hosting an engaging evening on the Future of Shipping & Logistics on November 21st. The evening will consist of relevant presentations, an interactive discussion forum, a keynote speech, and will close with a social networking session. Technologies to be discussed include blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The event speakers will examine how a combination of these technologies could reduce billions of dollars of cost in the shipping and logistics industries, as well as examine legal implications that may arise from the use of blockchain technology and smart contracts.
MarEx is the official media partner for the event, and we invite all maritime professionals in the region to attend in order to explore these revolutionary new technologies.
