Anil Saini Joins MariApps Marine Solutions

Mr. Anil Saini has joined MariApps Marine Solutions (a Bernhard Schulte Group Company) as Business Representative Europe and Middle East for their digital product PAL. He previously worked as a consultant to the shipping industry and as a representative for Danaos Shipping.

Prior to that, Saini worked on the concept of ship pooling - an idea of bringing an Uber-like solution in shipping between shipowners and exporters. He joined shipping in 2004 after graduating as a marine engineer from TMI, India (a BITS Pilani center), and steadily progressed in the maritime software industry through numerous consultancy roles of increasing responsibility.

Saini joins MariApps with a wealth of company experience in maritime software organizations across regions, and has a strong track record of delivering operational performance transformation, business development strategy implementation and Client relations.

From 2011-2016, Saini worked as a consultant on varied projects, including an accelerator program affiliate to identify startups, as a surveying consultant on Engines, providing training on maritime software and providing database services on a project basis. From 2009 to 2011, Saini was a project manager with Valad Business Solutions, India, working on technical aspects of databases.

Saini also worked as a junior engineer onboard ships for three years with Anglo Eastern Group, Hong Kong.
