Cocaine, Heroin Found on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship

Baltimore authorities report that drug sniffing dogs located nearly $100, 000 worth of cocaine and heroin onboard Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas on Saturday. This is the second time in less than a month that drugs have been found onboard the ship.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection reportedly found the 1 ½ pounds of heroin and nearly pound of cocaine inside a locker in an area of the ship only accessible by employees.
The Enchantment of the Seas was searched after it docked in Baltimore, following a 12-day cruise that included stops in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Maarten and the British Virgin Islands
Just last month three employees from the ship - Gavin Excell, 35, Loxly Johnson, 48, and Shenika Graves, 34, - were arrested and charged with conspiracy to import drugs. The three had reportedly obtained the cocaine while the ship was docked in Jamaica. A security officer onboard tipped off ICE, who made the arrests.
It is possible the stash found Saturday is from the three who were arrested. Authorities are investigating all leads at this point.
