HudsonAnalytix, Inc. is pleased to announce that Chief Executive Officer Cynthia Hudson has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Caribbean Maritime Foundation (ACMF). The ACMF supports the work of the Caribbean Maritime University, including raising funds for scholarships, equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.

The Caribbean Maritime University was founded in 1980 as the Jamaica Maritime Training Institute with the aim of training professional seafarers. Today, it stands as the first maritime university established at the international level in Jamaica, and is recognized as a center of excellence for tertiary maritime and logistics education in the Caribbean.

Cynthia Hudson said, “I am delighted to be selected to join the very active and vibrant ACMF Board. The ACMF’s mission to support the CMU is crucial to maintaining the growth and sustainability of the most important resource of the Caribbean region – its people. The ACMF helps the CMU to enable its graduates to meet the requirements of the growing regional maritime industry, thereby benefiting local and regional economic development and improving the lives of graduates and their families. I look forward to contributing meaningfully to the ACMF in the coming years.”

“Ms. Hudson represents the high level of stewardship that is expected from every member of our board of directors, and her many years of experience working on behalf of Caribbean interests means a great deal,” stated ACMF President and Founder Dr. Geneive Brown Metzger.
