Survitec's Dedication to European Market with Products and Services Showcase at Nor-Shipping
During Nor-Shipping 2013, the Survitec Group will be showcasing its wide range of advanced, marine survival products and services for the shipping and offshore markets. World renowned for its lifesaving equipment, Survitec is a major supplier to Europe’s shipping companies, shipyards, offshore platforms, naval defence forces and airline operators, with nearly 25, 000 customers located throughout the region.
Survitec provides the European market with everything from commercial liferafts, lifejackets, marine evacuation systems, immersion suits, pyrotechnics, electronics, rope, ancillary equipment, rescue boats and fire fighting solutions. Popular brands under the Survitec umbrella include RFD, Beaufort, DSB, DBC, Imperial, Elliott, SurvitecZodiac, EV, RFD Toyo and Crewsaver. Survitec technical experts will be available on Stand C03-04b in the Safety and Rescue Pavilion, to provide up-to-date, extensive information to vessel owners, engineers, ship managers and ship yard operators.
Showcased on the Survitec stand will be the SOLAS approved Crewsaver Immersion Suit and Seacrewsader 2010 lifejacket. This cost-effective lifejacket offers comfort and flexibility in a lightweight design without compromising on Crewsaver's renowned manufacturing quality.
Detailed product information will be available at the show on Survitec's portfolio of marine evacuation systems from the SurvitecZodiac and DSB brands that are suitable for high speed and low freeboard ferries, as well as the DSB range of rescue boats and workboats that are acknowledged the world over, for their sturdiness of design and extended product life.
Survitec’s fire inspection experts will be on hand to explain the company's fire fighting solutions. Survitec is approved by USCG (US DOT), DNV, Lloyds R, G Lloyds, ABS and Class NKK to design, engineer, install and service specialist fire and gas protection and detection systems.
Visitors to Nor-Shipping will also be able to experience a live demonstration of the inspection process of the liferaft offered in the Global Services Liferaft Hire programme, which leverages the company's global network of service stations. This is a flexible solution-based service that allows a shipping company to choose between service hire or liferaft exchange hire with the additional option of a fully managed service.
