OceanGuard BWMS on Carnival Cruise Vessel - AIDA STELLA

Recently, OceanGuard Ballast Water Management System (BWMS), developed and manufactured by Headway Technology Co., Ltd., has been successfully installed on board AIDA STELLA, another Carnival luxury cruise vessel.

AIDA STELLA is the first order and application among in Germany for Headway, also the second luxury cruise vessel order from Carnival Corporation since Headway reached the first cooperation with Costa Crociere S.p.A, Italy on July 26th, 2011. OceanGuard BWMS broke through all kinds of obstacles by virtue of unique product advantages, meeting almost harsh requirements of Germany ship owners and successfully opening German market. After actual inspection and verification, Carnival Corporation again chose OceanGuard, which fully proved that the OceanGuard BWMS has survived the passage of time, which is the most dependable and reliable BWMS.

On July 26th, 2011, Headway Technology Co., Ltd. reached cooperation with Costa Crociere S.p.A, Italy, creating a new era of OceanGuard BWMS to be installed overseas. This is the first time that OceanGuard BWMS installed in the cruise ship.  At the same time, it is not only the breakthrough in marketing performance of OceanGuard BWMS, but also the first ballast water management system which is exported to and installed in Europe. After that, Headway successively signed agreements for the BWMS projects for oil tankers from Greece well-known shipping company, Norwegian multi-purpose vessels, PSV and MPSV from well-known offshore operating company POET in Singapore, barges from Norwegian well-known shipping company and so on. This time opening German market proved that Headway OceanGuard  BWMS has once again won wide attention and high recognition of the European market and the leading ballast water treatment technology has reached international advanced level, highlighting more and more the advantages in competition with European brands.

Installation and commissioning of OceanGuard BWMS was finished in Papenburg, Germany, and the ship will be launched early March, 2013. During the installation, representatives from AIDA STELLA/Carnival spoke highly of OceanGuard BWMS for its compact design and easy installation. During the commissioning, AIDA STELLA/Carnival staff put forward higher requirements for all the sets, to which Headway technical engineers responded more flexibly, and finally satisfied all the requests one by one. OceanGuard BWMS survived the higher level of challenge and won high appreciation from AIDA STELLA/Carnival.
