Fire Onboard Cancels South American Cruise

A fire in the engine room of the MSC Musica, left the ship without water supply or air conditioning.

The ship was planned to depart the port of Rio at 6 p.m. Sunday, for an eight-day Christmas trip with stops in Recife, Maceio and Salvador.

The owner of the cruise ship, MSC Cruises, announced that guests would receive a full refund for the trip and an additional fifty-percent off a future trip.
