IMAT is one of the largest maritime training center in the world, on a total area of 600.000 s.m., managing over 1200 vessels shared by over 50 shipping companies for training and students from more than 88 countries. Imat owns some of the largest simulators in the world, the only Green flag firefigthing field and has 180 employees. It's the only training center in Italy which owns all STCW mandatory accreditation and runs over 200 courses for about 15,000 students per year.
