New Managing Director for TMC

Tamrotor Marine Compressors (TMC), world leading supplier of compressed air systems for marine and offshore use, today announced that Hans Otto Schjerven will take over as Managing Director for the company from 1st October.

TMC has experienced steady growth and has now reached a level where the management team needs to be expanded in order ensure the best possible operation of the company going forward.

Since 2013, Per Kjellin has had the combined role of Managing Director and Sales Director of TMC. With a growing organization and a challenging market, Per Kjellin wishes to focus on sales and business development, and a decision was made to look for a new Managing Director.

As a result of this process, Hans Otto Schjerven (41) was hired as Managing Director of TMC. He will start in this position 1st October. Hans Otto Schjerven comes to TMC from a position as General Manager Product at Kongsberg Maritime and has extensive experience from the maritime sector.

Per Kjellin has done a formidable job in the double position as Managing Director and Sales Director, and is now looking forward to focusing on sales and business development in his new role as Director of Sales and Business Development.
