Louisiana Technology Council recognizes MarineCFO for Technological Innovation & Progress.
MarineCFO Inc., the leading provider of On-Vessel, Marine Operations, Personnel, Fleet Maintenance and Financial Management Software Solutions to the Global Marine Transportation Industry, announced today that MarineCFO has been nominated for the Louisiana Governor’s Technology Company of the Year Award.
The Governor’s Technology Award honors organizations for their innovation and progress in the past year. MarineCFO has been nominated for the Technology Company of the Year Award, which recognizes those companies that demonstrate corporate leadership through the innovation of its technology products or services, sustained growth of its corporate assets and its dedication to community involvement. The Award highlights companies where technology is the innovative energy fueling or expanding the organization.

Technology Innovation
The MarineCFO Business Framework is the toolset used to develop and enhance all of the MarineCFO products. This “secret sauce” allows for rapid development and consistency across the interfaces and coding methodologies. MarineCFO is an active member of many important regional and national groups, such as OMSA (Offshore Marine Service Association), AWO (American Waterways Association) and other organizations. It actively participates in community fund raising events and has sponsored educational efforts, such as the technology efforts of the Terrebonne/Lafourche Diocese.
Industry Recognition
MarineCFO was selected as one of 20 global companies to be inducted into Microsoft’s Lighthouse Program. The program recognized early adopters of Microsoft Technology for use in the development of SaaS applications, as well as technical innovations and creativity.
