Ince & Co Promotes Five New Partners

International law firm Ince & Co announced the promotion of five lawyers from offices in Europe and Asia to the partnership effective 1 May 2012.

These promotions will increase the number of Ince & Co partners globally to over 100. The new partners are:

Hamburg

Dr. Volker Lücke - Volker focuses on shipping and yacht work. His practice covers litigation matters as well as advice relating to dry shipping (including cargo and charterparty claims), admiralty and yachting, together with related marine insurance aspects.

Dr. Eckehard Volz - Eckehard works in the shipping, marine insurance and energy & offshore sectors. With his seagoing background he handles all aspects of admiralty law, P&I and marine insurance. His energy & offshore practice includes a particular focus on renewables.

Paris

Vy-Loan Huynh-Olivieri – Vy-Loan advises on admiralty, cargo claims and charterparty disputes. She advises in relation to transport issues and has experience in major civil liability and pollution cases, and all types of industrial risks.  Additionally, she advises major offshore energy operators and contractors in non-contentious and contentious matters.

Shanghai

Gerald Yee – Gerald’s practice straddles both contentious and non-contentious shipping work. He advises on admiralty enforcement, cargo claims, marine insurance and P&I matters. On the non-contentious front, Gerald handles ship finance including ship sales and purchases and advises on charterparties, ship management and manning agreements.

Singapore

Martin Brown - Martin heads our  business and  finance team in Singapore.  His  primary practice is finance (including project, trade and acquisition finance) and he has specialist shipping and offshore finance knowledge, particularly in the Asian markets. Martin also assists clients with their corporate finance requirements.
