Datrex Announces the Formation of a Safety Electronics Division

With more complex electronics entering the safety market, dedicating company resources that specialize in these products makes good sense.  Datrex has experienced tremendous growth in both the quantity and types of Safety Electronics they have been distributing over the last several years. Supplying these types of products requires a more comprehensive approach towards working with the manufacturers and the market. 

With several key personnel acquisitions including Talbot Pratt, a Marine Electronics industry veteran who has been recruited to head the Datrex Safety Electronics Division, the focus will be establishing Datrex as a primary supplier to this market, while continually sourcing new and innovative products that help save lives at sea.  Datrex are already a major distributor for several Safety Electronics brands, and considering a new and exclusive agreement from UK based GMDSS products manufacturer Ocean Signal, plus other companies soon to be announced, Datrex has already built a solid platform from which to grow from.
