Indian Ministry of Shipping and IRCLASS Mandate Installation of Anti-Piracy CCTV Systems

On 1 January 2013, the Director General of Shipping in the Indian Ministry of Shipping has mandated that all Indian flagged vessels other than costal vessels are required to install an Anti-Piracy CCTV system in line with the recommendations laid out in the widely adopted BMP4, Best Management Practices item 8.9 on page 36 that can be downloaded here.
