The Royal Navy in Pictures
Royal Navy photographers have been recognised for their talent at the annual Peregrine Trophy awards in London – the Service’s equivalent of the Oscars.
The Photographer of the Year award went to Leading Airman Photographer Will Haigh who spent two years with the Royal Marines of 40 Commando, near Taunton. This took him to Albania, Jordan, France, Saudi Arabia and the west coast of Africa.
The 41 photographers in the Royal Navy joined as ordinary sailors.
