Two Arrested on Worlds Largest Cruise Ship for Sexually Assaulting Teen (VIDEO)

Two passengers aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas have been accused and arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in a private room. 

The Iowan teen girl was vacationing for Christmas with her family on a 10-day Allure of the Seas voyage and reportedly was attending a teen dance on the cruise ship, when a 20-year-old male and 15-year-old male lured the girl to a private room, where the assault is said to have taken place.  Both suspects, Brazilian nationals, were arrested as soon as the ship docked in Port Everglades, FL, as the girl immediately reported the incident to Royal Caribbean officials who contacted the FBI.

According to the police documents, the two Brazilians refused to let the teen leave the private room.  The 20-year-old was charged with one count of committing a lewd act. 

Manager of Global Corporate Communications for Royal Caribbean, Cynthia Martinez, said that Royal Caribbean will continue to support law enforcement during the investigation of the incident.
