Pirates Release Syrian Bulk Carrier and Crew
Pirates released the Togo flagged bulk carrier, MV KHALED MUHIEDDINE K, on the morning of May 26, according to a release from EU NAVFOR.
Pirates hijacked the Syrian owned vessel, on January 20, 2011, and held the ship and 25 crewmembers for 126 days.
Officials say the crew of 22 Syrians and 3 Egyptians are well.
