Mr. Don Wamsley Joins Globe Wireless as Senior Vice President of Customer Care

Globe Wireless is pleased to announce that Mr. Don Wamsley has joined the company as the Senior Vice President of Customer Care.

Mr. Kenneth Jones, Founder and CEO of Globe Wireless commented, “Globe Wireless strives to continuously improve all aspects of the services we provide our customers.  The addition of Don to our senior management team reaffirms our commitment to this goal.   He comes to us with a wealth of experience in the field of customer support and service.”

Prior to joining Globe, Mr. Wamsley previously managed the Global Technical Assistance Center for JDS Uniphase.  Before this, he served as the Senior Call Center Director for Hughes Network Systems, where he lead a cross-functional team to redesign customer support organization encompassing six on-shore and off-shore call center located in Philippines, India, and United States. Over 500 staff supported approximately 600,000 direct consumer, small business, Value-Added Reseller (VAR), and Enterprise customers, Field Service, and installation personnel. Services provided included internet subscription services, credit/debit transaction, and performance monitoring.  Mr. Wamsley holds a Bachelors of Science degree from National University, San Diego, California.

Mr. Wamsley said, “Globe Wireless offers world class products and services exclusively to the commercial maritime industry.  I am excited to help the company form the new Customer Care group, which will unify all aspects of customer service – sales support, worldwide shipboard installation and service, regional customer support, and global help desk – under a single department.”
