Germanischer Lloyds Phil Essex Elected to PVA Board of Directors
Members of the Associate Council of the Passenger Vessel Association have elected Phil Essex, Tonnage Coordinator, Germanischer Lloyd (USA) Inc., to serve as its representative to the PVA Board of Directors.
We are delighted to have Phil join the PVA Board,” said Bill Clark, PVA President. “His expertise and long-time involvement in the passenger vessel industry prepares him to immediately make a meaningful contribution to the work of this body.”
Mr. Essex has been a tonnage specialist for more than 25 years. An active PVA Associate member since 1991, he has served on the PVA Regulatory Issues Committee since 1996, as well as on the PVA Associate Council from 1997-2005; including a year as the Council’s Chairperson.
