SafeWork sites, which can be subscriber-branded, draw on the Maritime Accident Casebook concept.

Maritime Accident Casebook, the web-based maritime safety site, now offers free safety sites to its corporate and organisational subscribers. Called SafeWork, the sites will enable subscribers to build targeted safety resources to meet their own safety enhancement needs and objectives.

SafeWork sites, which can be subscriber-branded, draw on the Maritime Accident Casebook concept. They can deliver safety information in a variety of formats which can be updated quickly, enabling safety lessons and alerts to be distributed throughout an organisation's structure with a high degree of immediacy. The sites may also utilise the library of podcasts and transcripts already established by Maritime Accident Casebook together with other tools.

Bob Couttie, administrator, says: “The Maritime Accident Casebook concept is a powerful way to reach out to stakeholders with a safety message, to enhance their investment in safety and training and to help promote safety culture. We feel that there is a benefit to companies and safety-conscious organisations to be able to tap into that resource and adapt it to meet their own profile and needs.”

SafeWork is the latest addition to MAC's offerings to Premium Subscribers, in addition to its existing free safety awareness resources. Maritime Accident Casebook can be contacted at [email protected]
